whirl•wind

A kinetic and interactive sculpture that represents a "whirlwind of activity" at the rec center. An air vent above the sculpture turns the suspended "winds" (stainless steel) is turned by hand. Floor 'swirls' created with Italian tile and stainless steel. Colorful tiles (colors used throughout the rec center) accent the design.
